 Tivat is the widest town in Boka Bay. It is located in Tivat bay on the coast line, under forest covered mountain called Vrmac. History say at the time of lyric queen Teute in lll century BC, town existed on the place where Tivat is now located. This used to be exclusive summer residence of queen  Teute with beautiful garden.
    Interesting story is how Tivat’s central park was established by Boka’s sailors. They would bring with them different samples of exotic plants every time they come home and plant them in the town’s central park. Tivat is located in the middle between Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi. From the town of Kotor it is only 7 minutes drive by car, from Budva 20 and from Herceg Novi 30-45 minutes.
